I am a BACP registered and accredited counsellor with a degree in counselling from Greenwich University. I see clients privately as well as in NHS Primary Care. I have experience of working with both men and women in a variety of healthcare and community based settings working face-to-face but also do work by telephone or Skype
In primary care, I work with mainly female clients but I come from a background of helping men with relationship and divorce issues and child contact problems. I am a member of the Male Psycology Network so am aware how men and women sometimes have different needs, goals and ways of working with a counsellor and I aim to adapt the way we work to suit each person.
I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help and I aim to create a safe, confidential space for you to discuss whatever is on your mind. I see myself as being typically down-to-earth and practical in my approach, and previous clients have described me as a solid, non-judgemental and accepting person.
